Modıfıed Starch

Modified starch is used to regulate flow, gel, fluid loss and inhibitory properties of water-based muds. Since starch does not show ionic properties, it effectively controls liquid loss, especially in monovalent salt solutions. Therefore, it is successfully used in saturated saline sludges.

Usage Rates;

Bentonite system: 0.5 – 2.5 kg/m3

To the polymer system :1 – 5 kg/m3
