CFL Chromium-Free Lignosulfonate is an organic origin chromium-free lignosulfonate used successfully in all freshwater-based muds. Cfl chromium-free lignosulfonate aids in water loss control as a secondary function.
The general usage dose is 2-4 lb/bbl, and it provides maximum effect when the ambient pH is 9.5-10.5. As the pit temperature approaches 350 ºF, the effectiveness of the CFL begins to decline.
